Dr. Patricia Eshaghian grew up right here in Los Angeles. She left Southern California for the east coast to attend medical school at the Albert Einstein College if Medicine. She then went on to complete her Residency in Internal Medicine at New York University and finally returned to California for her Pulmonary and Critical Care medicine fellowship at UCLA in 2006. During her fellowship , She had the opportunity to spend a month in Ireland at a Cystic Fibrosis center, and this sparked her interest in CF and bronchiectasis. She joined the faculty here at UCLA in 2009 and began working to build a Cystic Fibrosis center at UCLA with her pediatric pulmonary colleagues. She has been the director of the adult CF program since 2013. Her interests are in the clinical care of CF, PCD and non CF bronchiectasis patients.
