20th Annual HIV CME Symposium: Tough Decisions Made Easier

The 20th Annual HIV CME Symposium has been rescheduled to Tuesday, January 7, 2025.

This one-day symposium is designed to provide participants with relevant, reliable, up-to-date information on the clinical management of HIV-related issues including: management of people with HIV with new or simplified treatment options, management of HIV related complications and the use of antivirals for the prevention of HIV in those at-risk.

Due to the low enrollment fee, no refunds will be offered. A full refund will be provided if this course is cancelled, or postponed.

Course Recording
The course will not be recorded.

1. Identify causes of weight gain in people with HIV, and the considerations for using the weight-loss medications.
2. Understand the risks, benefits, and eligibility of people with HIV for initiation of cholesterol lowering medications.
3. Identify new agents being developed or recently available for HIV treatment.
4. Understand the state of HIV cure research, and what novel interventions are being studied to move the field towards being able to cure HIV infection.
5. Describe the use new STI prevention strategies, as well as interventions in development for STI and HIV prevention.
6. Understand the complex relationship between HIV and major depressive disorder (depression).
