What's New in Wound Care and Limb Salvage?

The Wound Care Symposium is scheduled to be a one-day program that will be held at a designated facility. The program will be held in-person and virtual. The multi-disciplinary faculty members of the program will all be in person. The intended audience will include but are not limited to any providers and staff who treat wounds of all types. There will be invited vendors who will be providing viewing stations for wound products.

No refunds will be granted for this course due to the low enrollment fee. A full refund will be provided if, for any reason, the course must be canceled or
rescheduled.

Course Recording
All registrants (live or virtual) will be provided the opportunity to review recorded sessions up to 3 weeks following the conference.
The recorded sessions are not approved for Continuing Education (CE) credit. 

1. Recall different etiologies of wounds
2. Describe principle of wound healing
3. Identify alternate wound treatment options
4. Recognize various diagnostic modalities of wound and infection
5. Indicate the role of consulting to different specialties

The David Geffen School of Medicine at UCLA designates this live activity for a maximum of 7.50 AMA PRA Category 1 Credits^TM. Physicians should claim only the credit commensurate with the extent of their participation in the activity.

The California State Board of Registered Nursing accepts courses approved for the AMA PRA Category 1 Credits^TM as meeting the continuing education requirements for license renewal. Nurses from states other than California should inquire with their local State Board for specific continuing education policies.

From the 405 freeway, exit Wilshire Blvd., East toward Westwood. Turn left on Westwood Blvd., travel past Charles E. Young Dr. South and turn left onto Structure 8 driveway. Drive up the ramp to the rooftop level to park. Pay per license plate at the kiosk. All day self-parking is $15.00.
