Overview
This one-day educational conference focuses on what is new and notable in interventional radiology. The conference will be separated into topic lecture sessions (including overviews of literature in a rapid-fire format), panel discussions, and a worst case session, where use of new and novel techniques will be featured in addition to morbidity/mortality. There will be a total of 6 hours of topic lectures and one hour of best case/worst case for a total of 7 hours of educational content.

Due to the low enrollment fee, no refunds will be given for this conference.

Course Recording
All registrants will be provided the opportunity to review recorded sessions up to 3 weeks following the conference. 
The recorded sessions are not approved for Continuing Education (CE) credit.

Objectives
At the conclusion of this activity, learners will be able to:

  1. Describe recent advances in PE thrombectomy.
  2. Understand the role that interventional radiologists can play in global health outreach.
  3. Understand considerations when establishing a solo practice as an interventional radiologist treating peripheral arterial disease.
  4. Understand concepts of advanced techniques in IR including biliary endoscopy, venous, and arterial interventions.
  5. Identify the latest and most important studies in the past year in arterial disease and interventional oncology.

The David Geffen School of Medicine at UCLA is accredited by the Accreditation Council for Continuing Medical Education to provide continuing medical education for physicians.
