The UCLA Dept. of Ophthalmology Grand Rounds series is composed of weekly sessions which include a resident quiz, 3 case presentations, and a subspecialty lecture. The course is designed to improve the competency and performance of the ophthalmology faculty, fellows, residents, and community ophthalmologists and optometrists.

Objective(s): 1 Describe the differences in diagnosis and treatment for MS vs non-MS optic neuritis and apply recommended strategies to improve recognition and management of non-MS optic neuritis. 2 List the indications and contraindications for the use of teprotumumab for thyroid eye disease. 3 Describe the distinguishing ophthalmic clinical features of the congenital cranial dysinnervation disorders. 4 Identify proposed approaches to reduce disparities in glaucoma surgery outcomes and modify factors to improve surgical outcomes. 5 Appropriately diagnose atypical ocular motility abnormalities.
