Overview
The Department of Urology weekly Grand Rounds Series is a series that covers a broad range of educational activities, with presentations covering contemporary and historical topics in urology, across all disciplines within urology. Many of the sessions cover knowledge, competence, and performance gaps in the area of clinical and academic urology and are intended for a broad audience including faculty, fellows, residents, medical students, advanced practice providers, nurses, and more.

Objective(s): 1 Discuss the state of the art and up to date clinically relevant advances in the diagnosis, treatment, and management of benign and malignant urological disease conditions 2 Identify issues related to the practice of medicine in the evolving complex health care delivery milieu, demonstrating best practices in health care delivery as relates to the health care context (disparities in care, disparities in research, promoting an understanding of equity, diversity, and inclusion in the health care clinical delivery space, and promoting an understanding of different career paths after training and beyond). 3 Describe procedures and surgeries related to state of the art and up to date clinically relevant advances in the diagnosis, treatment and management of benign and malignant urological disease conditions. 4 Apply leadership skills in mentorship in and out of the academic medical environment. 5 Practice and promote wellness amongst our division to reduce burnout, reduce stress, and enhance wellness and sleep techniques.
