The Department of Neurology RSS offers a platform for healthcare professionals to engage with the latest advancements in neurology. Each session features expert speakers who delve into topics such as neurodegenerative disorders, innovative treatments, and emerging research. Objective(s): 1 Increase knowledge of the pathophysiology of functional neurological disorders 2 Improve competency in the diagnosis of functional neurological disorders 3 Improve confidence in the delivery of the diagnosis of functional neurological disorders 4 Improve implementation of evidence-based treatments for functional neurological disorders 5 Increase knowledge of the role of environmental exposures in the pathophysiology of neurological diseases 6 Increase confidence in recognizing environmental exposures relevant for neurological diseases 7 Improve learners’ ability to counsel patients regarding the risks of specific environmental exposures for neurological diseases 8 Increase advocacy efforts aimed at reducing environmental exposures linked to neurological diseases 9 Increase knowledge of how changes during neurodevelopment are associated with later onset neurodegenerative disease 10 Increase recognition of developmental risk factors associated with neurodegenerative disease 11 Improve learners’ ability to counsel patients regarding neurodevelopmental risk factors for neurodegenerative disease 12 Increase knowledge of the mechanisms by which non-neurologic therapeutics affect the nervous system 13 Improve accuracy in diagnosis of neurological disease due to non-neurologic therapeutics 14 Increase implementation of evidence-based strategies for management of neurologic complications of non-neurologic therapeutics 15 Improve communication between neurologists and non-neurologist colleagues regarding the neurologic risks of non-neurologic therapeutics
