7th Annual UCLA Advance Practice Providers (APP) Conference

The conference is a comprehensive, impactful educational program designed for nurse practitioners, physician assistants, clinical nurse specialists, CRNAs, and physicians. This conference will explore current best practices and emerging innovations across a wide spectrum of acute and chronic care settings. Attendees will benefit from a series of expert-led lectures, evidence-based case discussions, and policy focused sessions aimed at enhancing clinical expertise, advancing knowledge of healthcare innovations, and fostering interprofessional collaboration. Key topics will include complex patient management, pharmacological updates, the integration of artificial intelligence in clinical practice, and interprofessional teamwork strategies. Participants will leave with practical solutions, advanced clinical knowledge, and the leadership skills necessary to enhance patient care and drive innovation in the ever-evolving healthcare landscape.

Refunds

Cancellations must be received via email to [email protected] by Sunday, August 31, 2025 and will be subject to a $25 processing fee. No refunds will be granted after that date. David Geffen School of Medicine at UCLA reserves the right to cancel or postpone this course if necessary; in the event of cancellation, course fees will be fully refunded. 2. Describe the implications of artificial intelligence in healthcare including how it will affect patient care, influence care delivery models, impact healthcare costs, enhance diagnostic accuracy, support personalized treatment plans, and raise important ethical and privacy considerations.
3. Apply interdisciplinary collaboration through cutting-edge evidence-based practices, emerging technologies, and case-based learning.
4. Evaluate current trends and emerging innovations in healthcare technology and their assessing their implications for clinical practice and patient outcomes.
5. Apply integrated care models to improve interprofessional collaboration, care coordination, and continuity across diverse healthcare settings.
6. Analyze recent healthcare policy developments and understand their impact on advanced practice roles and healthcare delivery systems.
7. Incorporate equity-focused strategies that promote parity into clinical and organizational practices to promote inclusive patient-centered care.
8. Develop and strengthen leadership skills and strategic approaches to lead change and drive innovation within their scope of practice and organizational settings.
9. Translate evidence-based insights from expert-led sessions into actionable improvements in clinical practice.
