Series dedicated to clinicians in the medical field where recent advancements in research and methodologies, as well as preventative measures are shared and discussed. The series' speakers are experts, mentors, and trainees giving us a holistic approach. Objectives include clinical and professional matters in the anesthesiology field and with our partners in medicine.

1. Understand the etiology of perioperative complications.
2. Understand ways to reduce perioperative complication.
3. Understand the cognitive errors behind complications.
4. Learn and understand the latest developments within the field of Anesthesiology.
5. Review and understand the physiology and pathophysiology of the surgical patient.
6. Learn the latest techniques in regional anesthesia and pain medicine.
7. Learn the latest techniques in critical care medicine.

 

The California State Board of Registered Nursing accepts courses approved by the AMA PRA Category 1 Credits™. as meeting the continuing education requirements for license renewal. Nurses from states other than California should inquire with their local State Board for specific continuing education policies.
